Section Mowing Programmes
Craig offers section mowing programmes to take the hassle and worry out of owning a bare section.
This is a great solution if you are busy, don’t have a suitable mower or currently reside outside of Te Anau.

Overgrown sections in Te Anau are popular reservoirs for several pests like rodents and wasps. Craig often sees rats and mice, and occasionally rabbits, running out of the long grass when mulching, especially in the cooler months.

Craig personally keeps an eye on your section for you and tailors the timing of mows to suit the seasonal grass growth occuring.

You can stipulate a maximum number of mows for the growing season to ensure mowing costs stay within your budget.

Choosing A Section Mowing Programme
Grass growth is typically very seasonal in Te Anau and mows are needed in the Late September-May growing season. If a section is mown at the end of the growing season it can usually be left for around four months due to the colder temperatures and lower grass growth rates over Winter.
The standard Set & Forget Mowing Programme typically includes four mows per growing season. If it is a drought season and grass growth slows down significantly then three mows may be sufficient.

Clients can choose the Standard Set & Forget Section Mowing Programme (four mows occurring approximately every second month) or choose a custom mowing programme with a mowing frequency that suits them best:

For a tidier well-maintained appearance consider a Monthly Section Mowing Programme over the growing season.

If you are comfortable with the section grass being long at times but controlled in general, or have a lower mowing budget, consider the Standard Set & Forget Section Mowing Programme (four mows).
The per mow price is higher for infrequent mowing as it is slower and takes additional fuel to mow more overgrown sections.
